JvG is a passionate media management leader with extensive agency and corporate credentials who is astute with all phases of digital platforms and well versed with traditional media. He delivers a commitment to brand enhancement and imagination with deep global, domestic and local media experience across a variety of branding, product, retail, event/sports sponsorships and direct response initiatives.
He is a new age multi-talented communications leaderit's less about the media planning and buying (which he can do in his sleep). Rather, it's about his desire and ability to get at the root marketing issues facing a brand and determine the best mix and application of meaningful marketing communications disciplines to take advantage of available opportunities.
Jerry began his communications career with Grey Advertising, and he migrated to Laurence Charles & Free (now Gotham), Dentsu America and then Samsung’s in-house Cheil Communications Group. He has spearheaded efforts for blue chip clients such as Canon, Samsung, Colgate Palmolive, IBM, Heublein; and has successfully marketed products and services in a variety of industries that includes cosmetics, fashion, food, financial, packaged goods and technology.
He is a graduate of the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and is a native New Yorker who grew up on Long Island, before moving to Westchester & Fairfield counties and now resides in Northern NJ. During the warm weather season, Jerry can be found road cycling through the countryside of Bergen and Rockland Counties.
