Marketing & Strategic Planning

Mike began his career at Marsteller in New York, managing several B-to-B accounts including Fiat Trucks, Grumman Energy Systems and Combustion Engineering. It was there that he learned the value of integrating marketing disciplines like advertising, PR & promotion to create more powerful communication programs.

Later, Mike moved on to larger agencies like DDB, LGFE and Earl Palmer Brown where the challenge was to integrate communications for B-to-C businesses like Polaroid, IBM and Keyspan Energy. Regardless of agency or client or marketing need - program goals always remained the same: (1) completely understand the business and the marketplace; (2) work collaboratively with team experts to uncover the BIG IDEA that best leverages competitive attributes; then (3) execute the same message, voice & personality across multiple channels.

Today, Mike applies these same principles across a broad range of business types, using a palette of on and offline disciplines and media channels.

A graduate of the University of Washington and Washington State University, Mike resides in Bergen County NJ with his wife and two kids. He likes to punish golf balls when he isn’t following UW football.
