They’re called EPiX for a good reason. In the spirit of their go-big-or-go-home brand, they were looking for a print piece able to capture the intensity and scope of a four-part series on the NHL’s Winter Classic—the only regular season game played outdoors, and a huge draw for audiences.

The cover image said it all: two larger-than-life player silhouettes face off; inside the silhouettes, fierce close-ups of the players’ faces as they watch the action on the ice. Ice crystals give it an edge, literally, bringing the frigid outdoors in. Paired with print and mobile banners, it was (naturally) an epic campaign.
